Common Ground originated in November of 2003 as an indoor skateboard park and skateboard shop. For 3 years, Common Ground was the park that set the standards for skateparks in Canada. Hosting competitions, pro demos, and numerous local talent on a regular basis. With some of the most progressive indoor street courses and one of the most fun mini ramps, Common Ground became home to many skateboarders across Ontario.
Despite the support of many skateboarders in Toronto and the surrounding area, Common Ground had to close it’s doors in June of 2006, but is now back as a retail store called Cardinal Skate Co. located in the esteemed neighborhood of Bloor West Village in Toronto. Owned and operated by skateboarders and snowboarders, for skateboarders and snowboarders.
